Parallel wound cardboard cores
Parallel wound cardboard cores are, in addition to their use as spiral wound cardboard cores, known and suitable for the textile industry in Europe, as the cores have a higher bending strength than spiral wound cardboard cores.
This means that with these tubes you can reduce the wall thickness without reducing the requirement for the bending strength, and thus achieve a price saving on the cardboard cores. In addition, parallel wound cardboard cores have the advantage that the surface is smooth avoiding spiral marks when winding.
Parallel wound cardboard cores are also supplied with a wound-on flap 120 mm to avoid the use of double-sided tape when winding.
We can supply the following dimensions:
- Dimensions: From Ø 15.4 to Ø 692 mm.
- Thicknesses: From 1.5 to 200.0 mm.
- Length: From 520 to 2320.0 mm.
